Our new text editor makes it easier than ever for you to create attractive and easy-to-read job postings that qualified job seekers will want to apply to. And with the added "spell check" function, you can be sure that your postings will always look professional.
Now when you post your new jobs, you can easily add line breaks, bullets, headers, bold and italic text, and more. No HTML knowledge necessary! This new tool makes posting jobs easy and intuitive - very similar to using Microsoft Word or other text editors you're familiar with.
Your Job Posting screen now looks like this:

Here are some tips to make your job postings look better than ever:
Use "Spell check" to make sure your posting is free from misspellings. Remember, though, that you still may have mistyped a word that is in the dictionary but is used in the wrong context, so be sure to thoroughly read through your posting as well.
Use the "Paste from Word" feature to copy your job description from Microsoft Word into the text editor. This removes special Word formatting that will not translate correctly and will make your posting look wrong. Once pasted in the text editor, use the formatting buttons to reformat your posting how you'd like.
Use the "Paste" function when pasting from applications other than Microsoft Word.
Use the "Bold" button to make your headings and subheadings stand out or to call out an important benefit or requirement. It's best not to bold entire paragraphs as it makes them hard to read.
The "Italics" button is also good for headings and subheadings or for a small group of text that stands apart from the rest of your description. You may want to add a testimonial from one of your current employees and italicize it and center it at the bottom of your posting. As with bold, large blocks of text in italics can be hard to read, so it's best to use it sparingly for emphasis.
Use the "Font Color" in the same way as bold or italics. It's best used for headings and subheadings rather than large blocks of text. Also keep in mind that some colors are hard to read on the screen. Yellows and reds are especially hard on the eyes so don't overuse them. You may want to select colors from your company logo in your headers as a way of tying in your corporate identity with your JobsInME.com job postings.
Use the "Font size" feature to change the size of your font. It's best to keep headings to 14-16 pt, subheadings to 12-14 pt, and body text to 10-12 pt for easiest readability.
Use the "Center" button for headers and subheadings to make them stand out.
"Numbered lists" and "bullets" are great for lists of items such as benefits or job requirements.
Use the "Remove formatting" button to remove all formatting such as bold, italics, etc. that you added to the document so you can start fresh.
Remember: Keep it simple
A clean and simply formatted job posting that uses bold, italic, and color wisely but sparingly will be easier to read and more attractive than a busy and colorful one.
If you're an HTML whiz, you can also go into the HTML code and edit it freely. Just use the "HTML" button at the bottom of the text box.
Please note: Premier customers ONLY are permitted to post their logo, photos, and employment applications on their job postings. If you need help with these features or have any questions, please contact your account representative.
