Career Connection Wins Communicator Awards' 2011 Silver Award of Distinction

The International Academy of the Visual Arts recently announced that Career Connection, the premier online job seeker newsletter, is the recipient of the 2011 Silver Award of Distinction for newsletter copy and writing. With thousands of entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.

MacBook Contest Winner Announced

Jennifer Gosselin of Vermont - our lucky MacBook contest winner - is happy to report that she recently landed a job with a former employer. Back when she was actively looking for work, Gosselin used JobsInVT.com daily, performing job searches by county.

"We didn't have a computer in the house and we've always wanted a laptop. It was so nice to win this, especially right before the Christmas holiday!" Jennifer said.

Gosselin said she really appreciated how easy the site was to use and how quickly she could see all of the jobs listed in her county.
