NATIONAL GRAPHICS INC, a top printing firm in the Northeast, seeks to add personnel in the Purchasing Department in managerial, buyer and trainee capacities. Previous experience in purchasing and/or materials management is helpful as well as inventory control experience.
Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining organization in the job, communications, and timely, neat paperwork.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
. exposure to upper management and liason between various operational departments and finance
. manage purchases from beginning to end as well as addressing and closing any issues along the way
. responsible for vendor relationships and overall rating of vendors
. prospect for new vendors as needed and handle disputes with old vendors if/when they arise
. present weekly, monthly and yearly reports
. create and meet budgets with proper inventory levels and oversee inventory regularly and do physical counts

COLLEGE DEGREE PREFERRED AND/OR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE EQUIVALENT
FOR MANAGERIAL POSITIONS, PRIOR PURCHASING, MATERIALS MANAGEMENT AND INVENTORY CONTROL EXPERIENCE IS HELPFUL.
MUST BE PROFICIENT IN WORD AND EXCEL.
