The Maintenance Worker/Driver is responsible for supplying transportation services to students and performing general maintenance duties throughout the year.
Transport students by bus and automobile to various vocational sites, medical centers, recreational activities, courts and etc. Transports equipment and/or commodities to the center. Inspects and reports on the mechanical condition of the vehicles. Maintains accurate and complete trip reports of each use of any vehicle. Assists in the relocation of center equipment and furniture.
Adheres to all PRH, PAG, CDSS and CSDC policies and procedures, and the Center’s Operating Procedures.
Attends all training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled. Is CPR and First Aid Certifiable.
Maintains a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no loss-time accidents.

Minimum: Must be able to read and write English at a high school level with at least six months of general transportation experience. Must have a valid State Driver’s License valid Commercial Driver’s License.
Preferred: Possess a High School Diploma. One-year experience of general transportation experience.
Knowledge Required: Knowledge of methods needed to instill appropriate transportation procedures; to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate and execute instructions or directives fluently in English.
